Since its inception it has managed to build its credibility within the furniture industry and has become a major player in producing furniture for the nation using affordability as a cardinal index thereby at the budget and exclusive designer level.Mr Wood has progressed to a solid business that employs approximately 45 staff members which comprises skilled artisans and craftsman. The factory is fully automated with state of the art machinery which allows for the manufacture of both freestanding and fixed furniture.
The company is ideally and strategically situated in Ladysmith, Kwa Zulu Natal, which allows for easy access to the country's hinterland and the coastal areas. Mr Wood is highly organized in terms of logistics and boasts its own fleet of transport vehicles which has ensured penetration of remote markets in the country.
